I’m a Cincinnati interior designer with more than 15 years of experience creating thoughtful, highly functional interiors for busy families. I believe the best homes feel personal and collected—layered with character, natural materials, meaningful art, and timeless details—while still working beautifully for everyday life.

My background spans luxury residential, hospitality, and commercial interior design, which has given me both the creative vision and technical experience to confidently guide a project from the earliest ideas through the finishing details. With experience in space planning, construction documentation, custom cabinetry and millwork, finish selections, and project management, I help clients navigate renovations, new construction, and full-home interior design with clarity and confidence. I also work closely with architects, builders, and trades to make sure the design is thoughtfully planned and beautifully executed.

My appreciation for craftsmanship started early. I grew up in a family of makers and creatives, surrounded by sewing, decorating, entertaining, furniture building, and woodworking. Those experiences shaped the way I see design and continue to influence my love of thoughtful details, quality materials, and things made to last.

As a wife and mom of two, I also understand that a beautiful home has to work for real life. I design refined but approachable spaces that can handle busy mornings, family dinners, muddy shoes, entertaining, and everything in between.

Through Carley Moran Design, I work with homeowners throughout Cincinnati and the surrounding communities to create homes that feel elevated, functional, deeply personal and designed to be lived in.
