The process starts with an in-home consultation of up to two hours. We’ll walk through your home, talk about how you live, what’s working, what isn’t, and what you want to accomplish. From there, I’ll define the project scope and walk you through my design process so you know what to expect before we get started.

Whether you’re building a new home or taking on a large-scale renovation, I’ll guide you from the earliest plans through the finishing details. My role is to help you make confident decisions, keep the design cohesive, and make sure the home works just as well as it looks.

I’ll review layouts, refine functionality, guide selections for cabinetry, lighting, plumbing, tile, flooring, hardware, paint, and architectural finishes, and use 3D renderings when they’re helpful for visualizing key decisions. I also collaborate closely with builders, contractors, and trades, providing clear specifications and design guidance throughout construction.

With so many decisions happening at once, having one experienced designer keeping track of the big picture and the small details makes the process much easier. The goal is a home that feels thoughtful, functional, and completely yours—without the overwhelm.

For clients who want a clear design direction but prefer to handle the shopping and implementation themselves, the Design Strategy Session is a practical place to start. It’s ideal if you enjoy being involved in the process but want an experienced designer to help you make confident decisions and avoid second-guessing along the way.

• Detailed Meeting Notes with a clear summary of what we discussed and the next steps to help you move forward

• Paint Samples when applicable

• Hand-Drawn Sketches or Floor Plans when helpful for planning the space
